DEVELOPING YOUR TAROT - Minor Arcana
EXPLORING THE MINOR ARCANA
Number Ideas
Explore the numbered cards of the Minor Arcana by looking for the common idea across the suits. This means considering what underlying concept might connect all four Aces, then all four Twos, and so on, through to the four Tens.
This is a great exercise to try for yourself. In a way, this connects to numerology - which may have contributed to the initial scenes created for the Waite deck - but by working back from the tarot card to each number, you make your own deeper connection with the images.
Afterwards, if you want to compare and contrast with another's explorations, see TAROT SOURCE NUMBER IDEAS.
Court Card Ideas
Explore the court cards of the Minor Arcana, as in the above Number Ideas. Compare all the Pages, then all the Knights, etc. and consider what they have in common and the specific concepts upon which each court tier (Page, Knight, Queen, King) draws.
Give special attention to the way in which the energies of each suit affects the concept specific to each court tier.
Again, if you want to compare and contrast with another's explorations, see TAROT SOURCE COURT CARD IDEAS.
