Sometimes court cards are associated with elements, in the way that suits are. This can bring some interesting aspects to how you read the cards.
Often you will find the following associations:
Pages - Earth
Knights - Air
Queens - Water
Kings - Fire
Just as suits can change in correspondence, with Wands associated with Air and Swords with Fire, you can also consider associating Knights with Fire and Kings with Air.
Only once (so far) have I come across the intriguing idea of swapping the associations for Pages and Queens.
