Choose your tarot deck
Here are some of my favourite reading decks. You are welcome to specify a particular deck for your reading.
Alternatively, you can leave the choice of deck to me - I will go with the feel of your question and what I sense would be the best deck at the time. The Tarot Source Collection includes over 200 decks, so I should be able to find something for you.
Rider Waite Smith Tarot
This deck, often known as the RWS, was first published in 1910 and is a true classic. The majority of decks since have been based upon it.
The RWS has clear and rich symbolism and works well for any type of reading.

Buckland Romani Tarot
Robin Wood Tarot
This is a vivid, RWS-based pagan-related deck, with a lot of symbolic information.
The Robin Wood Tarot is a good all-rounder, though it connects especially well with practical applications for personal development.
Some images and information can be found at Aeclectic Tarot.
Lover's Path Tarot
A subtle, romantic deck based on legends, with a pre-Raphaelite feel to the illustrations.
This is, unsurprisingly, a very fine deck for questions of romance. It is also a versatile deck and can be used for exploring other issues as well.
Some images and information can be found at Aeclectic Tarot.
Bright Idea Deck
This is a modern deck with the complete tarot structure, though tarot is not mentioned.
The Bright Idea Deck was created for uses that include problem-solving and creative brainstorming. It is particularly good for business / career questions.
Some images and information can be found at Aeclectic Tarot.

This is my signature deck - the site's main image also comes from this fantastic deck based on the Romani (English Gypsies).
The Buckland Romani is a lushly illustrated deck, again with rich symbolism, that is particularly good for hitting the mark regarding personal / spiritual matters.
Some further images, along with information, can be found at Aeclectic Tarot, and the reprint deck is available via Galde Press, should you be interested in acquiring this beauty yourself.

Pearls of Wisdom Tarot
This is a vibrant, RWS-based visually and symbolically rich deck.
The Pearls of Wisdom Tarot is a good all-rounder, though it works especially well for reaching into the heart of the matter with sensitivity.
This deck has just been re-issued in a revised second edition and, if you would like to explore its beautiful imagery, further information can be found at the official website.
